10 niches. One matrix. Pick one with proof, not vibes.

Matrix grid comparing 10 faceless YouTube niches across demand, saturation, production difficulty, repeatability, and monetization

You have a shortlist. Three niches feel possible. You keep refreshing the Reddit thread.

Another week of comparison posts costs you another week of not shipping. The matrix ends the loop.

10 faceless niches scored on the six things that actually decide whether you publish video one or pivot again.

What the matrix scores per niche

Six columns. One row per niche. No fluff, no income screenshots.

  • Demand — search volume + watch hours from working channels in the niche.
  • Saturation — how crowded the top 10 results are and how recent the new entrants made it in.
  • Production difficulty — how much footage you actually shoot, source, or animate per video.
  • Repeatability — how many topics you can ship before the niche feels mined out.
  • First video angle — what the opening video should actually be about, in one sentence.
  • Monetization path — AdSense range, affiliate fit, sponsor type, and what comes online when.

Each cell is a number plus a one-line note. The matrix fits on one page. You read it in under five minutes.

The columns are deliberate. Skip ahead and you will see why “which niche pays best” is the wrong first question.

Who this is for

Not the curious. Not the “I haven’t picked a niche yet” reader. The matrix assumes you already have a shortlist and you are stuck because every blog says every niche works.

  • You can name two or three niches you keep coming back to.
  • You can list at least one real channel you would copy.
  • You have read three comparison posts and every one of them concluded “it depends.”

If that is you, the matrix is the comparison post you were waiting for.

How the scoring works

I built this matrix because every comparison post I read ended with “it depends” and zero numbers. Scoring beats listing. A score forces a comparison, a list lets you keep stalling.

Demand and saturation come from Channels Explorer (the 50-channel data set Faceless maintains) plus publicly visible YouTube data. Production difficulty and repeatability come from teardowns of 3+ working channels per niche, counting actual production load.

The PDF names sources for each column on page two, plus a tiebreaker rule for ties. No hand-waving.

The free price is not a discount. Next section explains why.

Why the matrix is free

Two reasons.

  1. The matrix is the proof layer. If the proof is wrong, you would not buy the pack. The matrix has to stand on its own.
  2. Faceless sells production assets at $5 and $19. The matrix is a free version of the research you would do anyway. The product is the cloneable channel kit that turns one of these niches into a video this week.

What the matrix does not do

  • It does not pick a niche for you. The job is comparison, not decision.
  • It does not include every niche. 10 is a calibrated shortlist. If your niche is not on it, the framework still teaches you how to evaluate.
  • It does not promise income. Numbers are ranges based on real channels, not projections.

Honest by design. The next block shows exactly what hits your inbox once you grab the PDF.

Quick answers

Is this a course pitch in disguise? No. The PDF is the thing. No upsell inside. Day 7 mentions a $19 product, take it or ignore it.

My niche is not in the top 10. Useful? Yes. The six-column framework transfers to any niche you can name a working channel for. The 10 included are calibrated picks, not a ceiling.

How is this different from Channels Explorer? Channels Explorer is the raw 50-channel inventory. The matrix is the scored, comparison-ready cut for shortlist buyers.

Already deep into a shortlist?

If your shortlist already has one clear winner and you are ready to start production, skip the matrix.

Open the Channel Launch Pack ($19) — bundles the 10 cloneable channels, the setup kit, and the First Video Command Center. One $19 payment.

If you want to browse the raw 50-channel inventory first, the free Channels Explorer is the unfiltered version.
