Zero views? Diagnose before you delete.
Zero impressions on upload 3.
You refresh the dashboard. Still zero. You start wondering whether the channel is shadowbanned, the niche is dead, or the algorithm has quietly blacklisted you.
The math says you are 12 hours into a 14-day data window. Most of what you are about to “fix” is panic, not signal.
The diagnostic separates the two before you delete a video.

What the diagnostic answers
Seven questions, in order. Five diagnostic stages. One specific change for your next upload.
- Step 1 — Wait or Act? How many hours since upload, against the realistic benchmark for a new channel. Most “zero views” panic happens inside the patience window.
- Steps 2-3 — Packaging. Title clarity check and thumbnail contrast check. Most genuinely broken uploads fail one of these two, not the topic.
- Steps 4-5 — Niche fit. Topic supply check and channel signal lock. If the niche has six search results and you are entering at slot seven, impressions never arrive.
- Steps 6-7 — Next upload plan. One specific change. Cadence reset. No bulk rewrites, no panic delete, no niche pivot.
Each step is a yes/no that points at one of three outcomes: wait, fix one thing, or change one thing on the next upload.

Who this is for
Not for established channels with 50+ uploads. Not for first-week curiosity browsing.
- You have between 1 and 10 uploads on the channel.
- The first or second upload returned zero or near-zero impressions.
- You are one Reddit thread away from deleting the videos and starting over.
If that is you, the diagnostic is the conversation you keep losing with yourself at 1am.
What the diagnostic will not do
- It will not promise your channel works. Some niches genuinely cannot land faceless. The PDF flags them honestly.
- It will not guarantee views. The diagnostic tells you what to change on the next upload, not whether the algorithm will reward you.
- It will not blame you. Most first-10-upload zero-view cases are normal early uncertainty, not a creator skill issue.
Honest by design. The next block shows you exactly what the diagnostic catches.
The 5 most common diagnoses
When faceless channels get zero views in the first 10 uploads, the cause is almost always one of these:
- Patience gate failure. You are inside the normal data window. The fix is not a fix. The fix is wait.
- Title clarity break. The title does not name a topic the algorithm can route. Generic titles starve impressions.
- Thumbnail contrast collapse. The thumbnail reads gray at 200 pixels. CTR is the gate before the algorithm trusts the topic.
- Topic supply mismatch. You uploaded a topic with no search demand and no related-video adjacency. Impressions need a place to come from.
- Channel signal noise. Earlier uploads in unrelated niches confuse the algorithm about what your channel actually is.
The PDF includes the test for each cause and the one specific fix to apply on the next upload.
Why the diagnostic is free
Two reasons.
- Selling a recovery product to a panicked creator is wrong. The first job is calm diagnosis, not commerce.
- The diagnostic is the thing. If it does not work on its own, no paid product fixes it later. The PDF stands alone.

Quick answers
Is my channel shadowbanned? Almost certainly not. YouTube does not silently shadowban new creator channels. Zero impressions in the first 24-72 hours after upload is the modal outcome for new uploads, not the exception. The diagnostic shows you the actual benchmark.
Should I delete the zero-view videos? No. Deleting tells the algorithm nothing about your channel and erases the small amount of data the system already has. The PDF explains the three cases where unlist is acceptable and zero cases where delete helps.
How long should I wait before deciding? The diagnostic uses a 14-day data window for the first 10 uploads. Inside that window, most reads are noise. Outside that window with three uploads still flat, the diagnostic says change one specific thing.
Will the diagnostic tell me my niche is wrong? Yes, if the niche is genuinely the issue. Most cases it is not. The packaging steps catch fixable mistakes before the niche question is even asked.
Is this just a list of YouTube growth tips? No. Growth content assumes you have impressions. The diagnostic is for the upstream problem: zero impressions in the first 10 uploads on a faceless channel. Different question, different answer.
Already past the first 10 uploads?
If your channel is past upload 10 and the issue is impressions plateau rather than zero impressions, the diagnostic is the wrong tool.
Read the faceless YouTube growth guide instead. It covers the next stage: optimizing the levers that move impressions once the algorithm has placed your channel.
If you have not picked a niche yet and zero impressions feels like a niche selection problem, the Niche Comparison Matrix is the right upstream tool.
